Led by Professor Wang Yi, the Leading Professor Team for Industrial Building Environment and Energy Conservation, supported by the State Key Laboratory of Green Building, is committed to promoting collaborative innovation across industry, university, research, and application. Oriented toward the practical needs of improving building environmental quality, advancing intelligent environmental control, and promoting building energy conservation and carbon reduction, the team has developed distinctive strengths in the field of industrial building environment and energy conservation. The team has achieved a series of innovative outcomes in areas such as precise capture technologies for high-intensity pollution sources, directional ventilation modes for large spaces, and categorized energy-saving methods for environmental control.

The team currently consists of 9 members, including 4 professors, 3 associate professors, 1 senior experimentalist, and 1 postdoctoral researcher. Team members have been selected for national major talent programs and recognized as Young and Middle-aged Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talent by the Ministry of Science and Technology. They have also received a number of honors, including the China Youth Science and Technology Award, the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award.

In recent years, the team has undertaken more than 30 national- and provincial-level research projects, published over 170 high-quality academic papers and monographs, and obtained more than 150 patents and software copyrights. Team members have also contributed as chief editors or co-editors of more than 10 national, industry, and association standards and specifications. Related technologies have been applied in more than 70 demonstration projects, delivering significant practical results.
